The proposed project aims to address the significant gap inengagement by faith-based organizations in conservationpractices within Rwanda, particularly focusing on the Gishwati-Mukura Forest Park and Akagera National Park. These areashave recently experienced considerable biodiversity degradationand ecological destruction. The primary objective is to empowerchildren and youth from various churches, interdenominational, and other faith-based groups to become future advocates forconservation and champions of creation care. This will beachieved through the integration of biblical teachings andscientific conservation practices.
The target audience includes denominational organizations, youth ministries, and Sunday schools residing in and around thevicinities of the Gishwati-Mukura Forest Park and AkageraNational Park. The geographic scope of the project willconcentrate on the affected areas within the parks and theirneighboring communities
